Hiring a virtual paralegal or virtual paralegal team can help improve your law firm’s efficiency, while also providing a better client-centered service to your clients. For lawyers who practice Corporate Law in Florida, they can specifically assist with business formation and maintenance, as well as registered agent services.
Business Formations
It is important for new businesses to consult an attorney on corporate structure and other legal matters because the business structure may have implications on taxes and other business operation aspects.
This is also why it is important that the formation documents are drafted correctly.
One way to offer this service to your clients at an affordable rate is to hire a virtual paralegal to assist you with drafting and filing formation documents, obtaining EINs, and much more.

From corporations, to limited liability companies (LLCs), to partnerships, d/b/a’s, and more, Opulent Landholdings’ Attorney Services’ virtual paralegals have experience with forming all types of business entities.
We can help with many tasks associated with business formations, including drafting:
- Articles of Incorporation
- Articles of Organization
- SS-4s
- By Laws
- Operating Agreement
- Meeting Minutes
- Stock Certificates
- Unit Certificates
- Shareholder Agreements
- Member Agreements
- Employment Agreements
- Vendor Agreements
Because we are based in Florida, Opulent Landholdings’ Attorney Services’ virtual paralegals have experience drafting these Florida-specific documents and are familiar with the Sunbiz portal as well as the Florida Revised Limited Liability Company Act and the Florida Business Corporation Act. Let our skilled team members give you the assistance you need, help to lessen your stress, and give you the time to focus on your priorities.
Once we have successfully setup the company, your virtual paralegal will still be there to help you with other tasks, such as annual reports, contracts, and more.
Annual Reports
Many attorneys also provide registered agent services, accepting mail and correspondence on behalf of the businesses. This allows for service of process directly to the attorney as well as the service of tax forms and other important documents.

If you provide registered agent services, or even if you don’t, it may be a good idea to remind your corporate clients about their annual report filings and offer to do this for them. Opulent Landholdings’ Attorney Services’ paralegals can assist with this task very easily and have experience doing so virtually.
An annual report is a form that updates or confirms the Florida Department of State, Division of Corporations’ records on an annual basis. It must be filed each year for the business entity to maintain an “active status” with the Department of State and is required to regardless of whether or not you need to make changes. It is not a financial statement.
A $400 late fee will be imposed on all profit corporations, limited liability companies, limited partnerships and limited liability limited partnerships who pay after the May 1st deadline. (Non-profit corporations are not subject to the $400 late fee.) If you do not file an annual report by the third Friday of September, your business entity will be administratively dissolved or revoked in our records at the close of business on the fourth Friday of September. (Chapters 607, 617 and 620, F.S.) Administratively dissolved or revoked entities may be reinstated, but it requires submitting a reinstatement application and paying all associated fees (the reinstatement fee + annual report fees due) at the time of submission.
Opulent Landholdings’ Attorney Services is the solution attorneys turn to for assistance at every stage of their clients’ company life cycle. We will help you avoid roadblocks and delay whenever you need paralegal assistance or extra help.
